Connect ProphetX

Link ProphetX so its markets line up next to every other venue. About 5 minutes — two keys from ProphetX's Settings → Token page. You may need API access enabled on your account first (request it from ProphetX support).

Open the connect form in OpenMarkets

Get to the form with the two empty key fields.

In OpenMarkets, tap the partner icon (top right of the Markets screen) to open the partners list.
Find ProphetX in the partners list and tap it.
ProphetX reads "Add credentials to activate" until it's connected.
ProphetX's connect form opens with two fields — Access Key and Secret Key. Leave it on this screen.

Generate the keys in ProphetX

On getprophetx.co → Settings → Token.

In a new tab, sign in to getprophetx.co.
Open Settings from your account menu.
Don't see Settings → Token? API access isn't enabled yet — email support@getprophetx.co to request it.
Open the Token page and generate (or copy) your Access Key and Secret Key.
The Secret Key is typically shown only once at creation. Copy it immediately — if you lose it you'll need to rotate the key in ProphetX.

Paste and test in OpenMarkets

Two fields, two buttons.

Back in OpenMarkets: paste both the Access Key and Secret Key, then tap Save credentials and Test connection.

How to know it worked

The ProphetX card flips to Connected with a green dot, your balance shows, and ProphetX markets appear in your slate.

If something goes wrong

Test connection failed

Confirm both keys are pasted whole — no leading/trailing spaces, no line breaks in the middle. If they look right, rotate the keys in ProphetX (Settings → Token) and re-paste.

I can't find Settings → Token in ProphetX

API access isn't enabled on your account yet. Email support@getprophetx.co and ask them to enable API access. Mention it's for connecting to OpenMarkets.

I lost the Secret Key

ProphetX can't show it again. Rotate the key in Settings → Token to generate a new pair, then re-paste both halves into OpenMarkets.

Balance shows $0 but I have funds

Give it ~30 seconds for a sync. If it persists, confirm the keys haven't expired or been rotated in ProphetX.

Disconnecting ProphetX

In OpenMarkets, open the ProphetX partner card and tap Disconnect partner. That removes the encrypted keys from OpenMarkets. Also rotate (or delete) the key pair in ProphetX → Settings → Token to fully revoke access.

Your Access Key and Secret Key are encrypted at rest in OpenMarkets and used only to fetch balances and route the orders you tap. The keys never leave the OM backend except to talk to ProphetX. Revoke any time on either side.
