Eligibility & responsible play

OpenMarkets (the Atlas app, by OpenMarkets Network Inc.) is an aggregation and connectivity layer over the third-party venues you connect. You trade through your own account at each venue; OpenMarkets never holds your funds and is not the operator or counterparty. Eligibility and responsible-play controls live with those venues, which are independent third parties operating under their own terms; this page explains what to expect and where to get help.

Who can use OpenMarkets

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum age required by the venue you connect and your jurisdiction, whichever is higher).
• You must be located where the venue you use is available to you. Venues and features are restricted by jurisdiction, and not every venue is available in every place.
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your use is legal where you are. Availability varies by venue and region.

How eligibility is verified

OpenMarkets routes your orders to the venue you choose, where the real-money relationship lives. Each venue is an independent operator that sets and enforces its own identity verification (KYC), age checks, and geographic eligibility under its own terms, before you can fund an account or trade. If you don't meet a venue's requirements, that venue will not let you fund or place orders, and OpenMarkets cannot route a trade for you there.

Trade responsibly

Trading on prediction markets and with real money carries risk, and you can lose money. A few ways to stay in control:

• Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and set your own limits before you start.
• Use the deposit, loss, and time limits and self-exclusion tools offered by your partner venue's responsible-gaming settings.
• Take breaks. Don't chase losses, and don't trade to escape stress or low moods.
• Keep trading separate from money you need for essentials.
